Synchronous Swim

MOTHER NATURE
In synchronous swim
Impatient rivers course toward the sea

Mountain streams unite
Pebbles cascade
Down treacherous shoals
Landing finally
On the surly ocean floor
Salton fossil bonds
Primeval lime deposits
Myopic bivalves
And tiny claw creatures
Silt and broken limbs
Tumble together
Become one in the greater
Watery world
And all is well
They’ve found each other’s sweaty sync
Their common surge
And their place
On the bottom muddy land
In the wonder laden realm
Of the wave drenched sand shore

  1. Amazingly beautiful, frustrated and neglected lovers leaving their cold existence to find each others warmth as they struggle to become one.
